What is a Webinar?

A web based seminar, transmitted live via the internet directly to your computer.

What do I need to participate?

A computer with access to the internet and audio facility.

How much does it cost?

Nothing! All our webinars are free to attend.

Do I need any additional software?

No, our webinars are powered by Webex which is accessed via the internet when you click the joining link.

How does it work?

Registration is required prior to the event. You will then be sent a joining link in your confirmation email, don’t worry if you lose this as you will be sent it again in a reminder email just before the event. You just need to click the link, follow the instructions and the webinar session will appear on your screen. Easy!

Do I have to call in to hear the presentation?

No, the audio is broadcast via the internet through the speakers on your computer.

What if I have problems joining the session?

From time to time attendees encounter technical issues when attempting to access the session. If this does happen the Webinar production team are on hand from one hour before the session starts to trouble shoot any problems you may have. Simply email or telephone for real time assistance.

What if I have a question for the presenters?

As our webinars are live and fully interactive if you have anything you want to ask our presenters you can simply type it into the Q&A box at the bottom of the webinar screen. In fact your hosts may ask for your participation this way!

How many people will be there?

Each event typically attracts over 300 registrants with well over 150 in attendance. It really depends on the topic – some of our events are niche and are tailored for a small audience, some are much more generic and can attract audiences of over 1000!

What if I can’t make it?

All our webinars are recorded. It will be available, together with the presentation, On Demand 24 hours after the event. In fact all our past webinars are available; why not take a look see what you have missed!
