Webinar Abstract

Title: Keeping it simple with Plant-Wide optimisation

Date: Wednesday, 29th September 2010

Time: 14:15 GMT

Being in the Food and/or Beverage industry, you are under constant pressure: higher targets, tougher challenges, but not more resources to work with.

Shareholders and your customers are insisting on broader product variety, on sustainable production processes, legislation demands a reduction in carbon footprint and senior management are pressing for more efficiency.

So, how can you keep everyone happy?

By converging control, power, communications and information technology throughout your plant, you can move closer to the goal of Plant-wide Optimization. Other food and beverage manufacturers are already enjoying the benefits that single platform plant-wide control can bring:

"Our machines contain devices that are independently matched to the processes of mixing and kneading. This results in energy savings of up to 30%" SoBaTech

"Our commercial people were over the moon -the ROI on this upgrade was an economic winner!" Carlton & United Breweries

Participants of this webinar will gain a better understanding on the future of integrated Process Manufacturing Solutions versus conventional DCS system. Regardless of what part of the process, upstream, midstream or downstream your operations are concerned with, keeping production levels high without endangering personnel, assets or the environment, to help maintain your profitability.

Furthermore, maximizing productivity, reducing total cost of ownership, and minimizing life cycle costs are the additional benefits of having an integrated solution.

Key Learnings:

  • How can I identify my ENERGY CONSUMPTION and then reduce it?
  • How do I know where my COST REDUCTION opportunities reside?
  • How do I ENHANCE PERFORMANCE of my existing assets?
